Future School - A student resource for the classroom and at home
Future School is the perfect resource for the student both in the classroom and
as a tutorial and examination for use in the home.
When used by the teacher in the classroom, the student has direct access to the
materials as and when required. The teacher determines which of the following
methodologies will best serve their students and their class:
Alternative methods of teaching assignment
- The teacher continues normal classroom activity and lesson plans and uses
the Future School resource by introducing it to their students at the end of the
lesson as an assigned resource or homework task, or
- The teacher presents the future school lesson via electronic whiteboard or
projector through PC or laptop, or
- The teacher is able to use the Future School resource in a computer lab
environment and each student progresses through the lesson at their own pace, with the
ability to complete any incomplete work as a homework task directly from the home computer.
In each of the above situations, the students:
- have the same lesson of the day assigned to the class and they are advised that
they can access the revision resource at school, or, at home to review that day's class lesson.
- are advised that they can try the examination, and if they experience any
difficulty, they simply watch the video presentation, giving them a step-by-step
tutorial on exactly what was taught in the classroom that day.
- can attempt either a pre-test assessment to evaluate their understanding; or
- an examination, which is a randomly generated set of questions covering the lesson
and consolidating 'the learning moment'
- has all question sets marked and dynamically updated for the teacher to monitor
and review each student's outcomes, identifying any areas of weakness or misunderstanding.
- can attempt any number of question sets and only the latest is recorded for teacher
monitoring, allowing the student to determine their level of accountability.

- For the School LMS model the students have unlimited access to the materials set for
that class year and are able to review any of the materials on demand.
- Where the teacher identifies special need requirements for a specific student
the student is guided by the teacher's assignments, providing student confidence in
the materials because of the ease of use and instant feedback in relation to their results.
What you need to know
The complete suite of lessons can be down-loaded through your school's Learning Platform,
or via the Future School LMS. However, you will need to confirm your school's current access to the Future School Online Learning Services:
- Identify if your school has a Learning Platform that can access the Future School Programs.
- If you know your school does NOT currently have access, then we can easily assist in providing the necessary information for your school and arrange instant access to the Future School programs of your choice.
